Laugh and learn from the speakers at BankTravel

The lineup of speakers for BankTravel 2010 in Milwaukee is reason enough for any banker to attend this upcoming conference! Three outstanding speakers are on tap to address delegates over the three days.

Jeanne Robertson is one of America’s most sought-after speakers today—or maybe we should say one of America’s most “looked up to” speakers. Because at 6’ 2”, everybody does look up to her!
Robertson is scheduled to speak at the opening session on the afternoon of February 7 in Milwaukee. It is a session not to be missed.

But don’t take it from us—here’s what the Wall Street Journal had to say about Jeanne’s speaking prowess:

“Tired of snoozing through convention speeches? Maybe your convention would rather hear Jeanne Robertson, a former Miss America contender joking about the perils of being six-feet-two.”

“Jeanne is 6’ 2” tall in her bare feet, but that’s beside the point. She is a dynamic speaker who will have our delegation falling out of their chairs with laughter,” said conference vice president Teresa Burton. “We had Jeanne speak to our group almost 10 years ago and I can honestly say we’ve never had a speaker connect any better with our audience than Jeanne did.”

Dr. Marc Mancini, one of the travel industry’s best-known trainers over the past two decades, has agreed to come aboard for BankTravel 2010 to present a customized program entitled, “Enhancing Customer Loyalty Through Bank Club Programs.” He will appear as the conference keynote speaker compliments of Mayflower Tours.

This nuts and bolts session will be a great seminar for program directors who are new or have recently entered the industry, but will also be an excellent refresher course for seasoned veterans.

Dr. Mancini’s client list include some of the travel industry’s best-known names—companies like Norwegian Cruise Line, Seabourn, AAA, Holland America Line, Trafalgar, American Express and many others. Mancini has presented his material to virtually every major travel industry organization’s conferences, and he has consulted for destinations like France, Hawaii, the Bahamas, Canada, Switzerland and many others.

“Marc Mancini is a highly sought after trainer in the cruise, travel agent and tourism industries,” said conference vice president Teresa Burton. “Thanks to an active interest in this market by Mayflower Tours, Marc is returning to BankTravel once again to share his best material with our bank directors.”

“Dr. Mancini has a very strong resume in this industry and will command our delegates’ full attention,” said Burton. “ We appreciate Mayflower Tours generous support in sponsoring such a prominent presenter in Milwaukee!”

And lastly, consider this message from our third speaker, Bill Geist, of Speaking the Zeitgeist, Madison, Wisconsin, who is customizing his nationally-acclaimed social networking session for bankers attending the BankTravel Conference:

“How social is your internet marketing strategy?”

“In the early days of internet marketing, banks used their websites as information portals. Today, however, the internet has become the social center for a majority of your customers’ lives. Internet marketing pro Bill Geist shares tips and tactics on how you can upgrade customer relationships and marketplace visibility through enhanced e-mail marketing, blogs, podcasts and social media services such as Facebook and Twitter. In this fast-paced session, Bill will make sense of all the options before you and paint a compelling picture for how social media can work for your bank!”

“This seminar is going to be one of the most practical sessions we’ve ever offered to our bank directors,” said conference vice president Teresa Burton. “If there is a timely, relevant topic in any industry today, it’s social marketing.”
